Staff seminar

It has been 2 tiring days @ Batam with discussions on both days and a very tight schedules indeed.We left at 9am on monday from the Harbour Front terminal and the trip which suppose to be an hour journey ended for more than hour due to strong wind and current.
The minute we arrived we were being ferried to the resort by our tour organiser with welcome tea when we haven't even had breakfast!!!....how to concentrate when the stomach is empty???

Many topics were discussed and day 1 we had Dr Frederick Toke our guest speaker to speak to us on child developement and treatment ... a very interesting knowledge he shared with us being a child phycologist. By afternoon my mind was like a zombie I was so sleepy (bear in mind ya I am still not adjusted yet-jetlag)...on our way for dinner I zzzzzz in the coach.

This is the whole staff who came for the seminar about 100 of us with 4 unable to attend ...... can u see me?I am in front row .... hehehe .... and I was introduced to 7 new teachers .. and a new malay teacher is added too teaching economics .. a young lady named Noor.

We were all well fed with 5 meals a day ... now how to reduce that weight??? every 2 hours we are being served with meals even the 2 tea breaks we had yummy savouries.

I am in A team and today we had to bring forward our ideas for 2009 and we cover all aspects and most important is achievement..points being fwd and discuss and the rest will be up to management board to implement.I enjoyed being part of the team and we really work well esp in todays workshop.

Our schedules were so tight that we had no time to do shopping .... the free period is only an hour and a half and most of us op for the traditional massage @S$30/- for 90 minutes of massage...and you feel good!

Ok I am off to work again as from tomorrow.....aaaarrrgggghhhhhhhhhh.
