Alert OrangeVirus becoming increasingly better adapted to humans but may not yet be fully transmissible , requiring close contact with an index case.



1.Action:Implement “No visitor” rule at all hospitals.


2.Encourage temperature taking at schools and all non-healthcare workplaces, markets, places of mass gatherings etc.

3.Carry out temperature screening for in-bound and outbound passengers at all air, sea and land border checkpoints.

4.Consider closing of schools and suspension of public gathering and events.

We are very busy now at the school ringing every available company to supply face masks,digital thermometers and every necessary stuff in the event of pandameic.

Alhamdulillah today we received the supply of 5000 facial masks,400 digital thermometers and digital scanners.
More stocks coming in next week ...... busy...busy....busy.

So dear friends as from monday I have to be in school at 8am as we have to scan all students and staff ...... should they have fever we have to isolate them and send them home if necessary.

We are now on orange alert and we have to follow the rules .... today itself few students came all asking to check their temperature ..... adoi belum apa2 dah panic.

My doas and hope we in Singapore will be 'swine flu' free and situation over the world will improve for the better....insya'allah.

Saya lemas kalau kena guna mask satu hari .... tak tahannnnnnnnnnn.

Tapi I nampak kawan kita kat seberang cool aje no preparation lagik.....

Semalam khatam juga saya tengok cerita the little nyonya .... tapi hampa juga tau dgn penutup cerita ni....konon nya masa last episode ni di tayangkan dia menarik ramai penonton yg nak tau apa akhir nya cerita ini....ada yg agree ... ada yg sedih .... dan kerena ramai yang hampa penerbit terpaksa membuat satu siri untuk menasihatkan orang ramai 'why it turns out that way'..... of course masa tu saya di America tak tau menahu apa yg terjadi.




Kalau ada jodoh mmg tak lari .... tapi.......

After a successful run on tv an interview with the casts .....

Walaupun ada pelakon yg agak kaku melakukan adegan tapi drama ni dapat sambutan yg baik.

Untuk Neeza mesti mula dari episode pertama jadi faham jalan cerita ni ye.....

Bila dapur tak berasap

Bila balik kerja dah penat dan juga malas jadi dapur memang tak berasap lansung.Kekadang ada juga leftovers dari hari2 yg lepas jadi bila lansung tak ada ..... ini lah yang menjadi makan malam saya hari ni ........








Laksa segera ..... tak bolih complain dah untung tu ada juga benda yang nak di makan ...... hehehe .... mana nak sama kalau kita masak sendiri .....

Tengah hari tadi bos belanja nasi bryani so kira ok lah mlm tak payah makan yg berat2 kan?....

Pagi tadi for tea pun kami di jamu dgn mini muffins dan sandwiches .... olih management to thanks us for our efforts to make the International Day a success last friday.

The mini muffins assorted ... ni I simpan nak FeDex to someone tapi tak guarantee bolih makan tak bila dia terima .... ada juga saya baling kat dia pagi tadi tapi sebab tangan dia pendek tak dapat nak di sambut habis jatuh ke lantai.......hahaha

Amongst the lot the banana muffin yg paling enak saya makan sampai 3 ..... hehehe

Makcik Bloggers

When I was going to KL to meet with some friends of the blogland I ask Dodie to do the surah yasin as gifts to my friends as token of our cyber friendship.Before that I've already asked her to do 10 of those to give to my own family and I found her workmanship is really very good so that inspire me to do the same for the meet up.

Not only I can present a very good gift but also to introduce others of her very creative workmanship .... to those who have received the said surah yasin I am sure you agree with me.

The next step Dodie ask ...'kak elle nak D tulis apa?'..oh..oh ... so I tried my very best to come up with something from my heart and thus ......

'Dari hati ke hati'.. came into my mind .... afterall its from me to you ... dari ku ke hati mu:)

and since its for makcik bloggers thus came 'hidup makcik bloggers!'.... tapi Zino tu ..ooops sori ek lupa nak letak'pakcik bloggers'......... dari kak elle .... kalau saya kata dr Latifah mungkin tak kenal kan?so *kak elle*has become my trade name at work as well.

'Little Nyonya' wins Star Awards for Best Drama, Best Supporting Actress

SINGAPORE : It wasn't a clean sweep for "The Little Nyonya" at the Star Awards on Sunday but the popular drama still managed to add another four trophies to its haul, including two Best Supporting Actress awards for Xiang Yun and Ng Hui.


It had already snagged seven awards in the Professional Categories earlier in the week. "Why are there two winners?" said a surprised Ng Hui, who played long-suffering maid Ah Tao in "The Little Nyonya". "The win is very unexpected as all my fellow co-stars had put up great performances... This is dedicated to my daughter, Yi Xin, who is celebrating her birthday today," said three-time winner Xiang Yun.


"The Little Nyonya" also won the coveted Best Drama Serial award as well as the Best Actress award for Joanne Peh. China-born actor Dai Yang Tian received the Best Newcomer award.










I am glad this drama won so many awards ... more drama like these should be made for us to watch .... the rich gets richer whilst the poor remain poor.

Tonite is the star award for chinese programs and I hope this drama will bag lots of award maybe best drama of the year 2008 dan juga best supporting actress/actor or maybe best actor/actress juga ..... cerita tentang nyonya peranakan yg menjodoh kan anak dan cucu dgn orang yg baik2 dan berada.


This is one of the DVD's that I bought last week in KL .... why? because I missed 3 wks of the shows when I was in states last year and thus the final episode ........... this show had a very high rate of watchers ........... kalau dulu my sisters and nieces mengusik I watch chinese prog ... and because of this 'my little nyonya' they too got hooked.

Nora if you are reading this ... you pun tengok kan?..... hehehehe

At last berisi .....

Pada yg pernah ke pondok saya mesti tau apa benda ni kan? tak lain tak bukan pintu freezer saya yg penuh dgn magnets dari merata2 tempat yg saya sudah pergi ... kecuali Eygpt dan Pulau Redang....hehehe ni baru pintu freezer aje yg kat tepi tu lagi banyak .....



Mesti ada yg tanya kenapa tunjuk pintu freezer .... ingat tak 2 minggu lepas saya ter switched off peti sejuk bila ke KL? habis semua nya saya buang di freezer dan dlm fridge ... ada dlm S$200/- barangan takut pulak nanti makan dapat jangkiti kuman pulak....yg dlm freezer mesti di buang terus ayam dan ikan dan lain2 mmg tak bolih di makan lagi ..... 2.5 days peti sejuk tak berfungsi kuman yg meresap pun beribu agak nya.


Minggu lepas tak sempat kepasar lagi sebab saya berada di KL lagi untuk bloggers meeting jadi pagi ni saya pun ke pasar sebab satu benda pun takde di freezer kecuali ice aje....hahaha

hmm.... penuh dah dgn ayam,daging,udang,ikan dan bermacam2 lagi ......bag plastic putih tu kiriman barang2 pasar untuk Aini .... dia mmg selalu kirim belikan ikan dan daging....saya lebih suka simpan dlm freezer bags or plastic jarang jadi saya kenal benda2 nya....dulu ada juga isi dlm tupperware tapi makan tempat.

Di pintu freezer pun penuh dgn frozen food ...... makan untuk sorang tapi macam untuk satu battalion kan?....belanja pasar ni mungkin untuk 2 minggu kot.

Jadi kalau dah kepasar dapur mesti berasap kan? ni lah juadah hari ni .....

Roti Jala Workshop

Alhamdulillah my roti jala workshop went smoothly and successfully .... the children did well inspite of being their first attempt doing this .... but of course we do get dot..dot... instead of beautiful lace....hehe

Overall I let them menjala 2 pcs each so they can do whatever they like with them .... laughters were heard all round when someone's jala didn't turn out well but I gave them an extra try to keep their confidence high.








Si hensem berbaju melayu anak murid cikgu chin who pop over and help me in the end for half an hour.... he enjoys helping me and eating too ..... ni anak Pahang tau berbangsa tionghua.... baju melayu cikgu chin beli di JB untuk anak2 murid nya yg mempersembah kan negri MALAYSIA....macam2 kuih muih saya dengar dia beli ... mlm2 cikgu telephone saya nak pinjam kain meja batik.

Anak2 sedang mengirai roti jala .... ada yg dah expert ..... ada yg masih ragu2 .....

Yg di bawah sebelah kiri anak2 berumur 12 tahun ... tapi mahir di dapur ......

We were given a bandana in conjunction with the International Day students and staff and we are to wear them as we like .......

The workshop ......

Its the International Day celebration on 24th April and today everyone seem busy preparing last minute. I also did my poster for my workshop this morning just a simple one and tomorrow I will attach the recipe at the bottom of the poster for whoever want a copy and I will clip with the sepet baju yg dah siap tu.












This is how my poster looks like ....... very simple indeed .....









I just finish cooking the potatoes with mixed veges curry for the filling of the roti jala ...... the students will do one each and roll it with the filling and its theirs to eat.





I only achieved 8600 steps by 5pm as we had a briefing on our new system only the chosen 6 are involved so having to sit down for over an hour ... there goes my walkinggggggggggg......

Pedometer

Steps for a healthy heart and thats what I was given yesterday to try on or rather to keep and use it daily.

I am suppose to walk up to 10,000 steps a day to fulfill it so lets see ah if I can do it ... but as you know I have been sitting down trying to complete my students datas .... aiyo .. let see..let see .....

After trying it for 2 hrs yesterday I'd only managed 1400 steps .... must do better than that today.....






The meter I have to clip at my waist band of my pants .....

Steps up your health ........

It must reach to 10,000 by 6pm today .....

Merah & Meriah part 3

My tight schedule in KL went uneventful at least I get to visit the 'pesta buku' ... I went with Mas and mind you I can't stand crowded places so I promise myself that I should just get what I want and leave ..... yes the place was so crowded that I couldn't breathe the oxygen at all .... people every where ........ but I managed to get hold these 5 novels only and should I stayed longer I probably will buy the whole place ..... hahahaha...

The beautiful Anis Ayuni ...... bought her latest book too.

My favourite all time novelist .... who else Aisya Sofea .... as promised we get to meet each other ... thank you so much my dear for being there .... but where is my AF ?????

Here's Aina Emir another novelist and I bought 3 of her books too ....

I had to leave the hall as I felt like I can't breathe and I was sweating ......

hahaha .... trying to copy their 'best' sign .......

I went into the cafe for a drink and sat there whilst Mas went in to browse ... hmmm.... she too is a book worm ......

When she came out she bought this set of books with few others ..... few hundreds ringgit terbangggggggg........

On Sunday Mas has to be in KK for the sultan birthday celebration as Concorde was chosen and all the management staff have to be present.

Sweet Dodie took care of me after we had breakfast at the melting pot we went back up to our room and continue with our nap .... and finally checked out around 2pm and headed for the PV for lunch.My first time trying laksa curry ... not bad.... but laksa nyonya would be better :) since we had time to kill we browse around and drop by a shop ...............

Guess what's in thet bag? ...... you wouldn't believe it ............. I spent ............

RM$326/- on these .........

Korean DVD ...... hahaha.....

and also these 2 ..................



hehe .... wouldn't it be better if I buy blouses from Ms Read? actually dah beli juga on the first nite also spent RM$398 .... on 3 blouses ... hehe



At 3.40pm we left PV and Dodie drove straight to the coach pick-up point and off I go at 4.30pm .... to home sweet home Singapore ....






Listening to the inhouse music during the journey and I watched 'Mamamia the movie' again ... my 3rd time .....





whilst si hensem ni serve our meals ........ aah he should be flying with SIA or MAS lah with his good look .......... betul tak Sya?

Merah & Meriah part 2

The gathering ends at around 6.15pm soon after the lucky draw was held .... everyone starts to hug again but this time no more tears ..... I am prepared now but don't you think the time is too short? I didn't get to talk long with everyone of you ... aiyo macam ni kena buat lagi satu gathering nampak nya ... hahahaha .... mesti banyak yang anggok2 ni dan bertanya bila????

Not so soon kena isi pocket first penuh2 baru bolih kesana lagi ......

Since I find time was not enough cikmilah and me with suhaila and mas sat at starbuck for a cool drink and extend our meeting there ... then followed by ummi365 but she didn't stay long as the 2 at home have no food for dinner.

Here we are with our most needed cold drinks after all the yak..yak... kat dalam tadi....hahaha...

I left with my 2 escorts for Ampang for another meeting for dinner this time with makandeh and her brood for a 8pm dinner date at KDE ... a nice place and we chat and had dinner till almost 10pm...unfortunately ummi couldn't get the green light from dad as the children will be left alone ...maybe next time ummi you get to meet MA.

Thank you MA for the dinner and finding time for me ... you have lovely children infact a very well behave children.

My plan that night was to stay with mas and dodie at SA but then Mas has to be in Kuala Kangsar that morning for Sultan Perak's birthday and she has to leave at 5.15am.I just don't have a heart to let her drive back and forth at that early hours .... so in the end I ask her to book for me a room at Concorde instead and she and dodie stay with me so she doesn't need to drive back and come again in the wee morning.

Our room to share with extra bed ..... very comfortable big and spacious .... and with good view from the 16th floor.

It comes with breakfast for 2 .... so much to eat and choose .........

Then extended meeting from Marche' to starbuck wasn't enough so she came to the hotel for another extended meeting ..... hahaha

Ummi came to visit whilst we were having breakfast to pass me a bag for Norabella .....

Thank you dear bloggers for all your cenderahati and presents ... even maklang c/o me an RE pouch thru' ummi .. thank you maklang ye.

Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart .... and hope to see you again sometimes but please don't bother abt giving anything just meet up and chat ok ?

My special thanks to all who came to make the gathering a success ..... without you this won't happen.

Bloggers meeting for second time within 2 weeks was indeed a real happening makcik2,pakcik and adik2 from the bottom of my heart my sincere thank you for making time to be there at Marche' @ the curve.




Bloggers and children a group photo session ... it ain't easy to get everyone's cooperation to smile and keep still and ada juga yg terselindung sampai muka tak nampak ...kesian kak ezza.


My special thanks to cikmilah who drives all the way from Penang to be with us .... and this one lady who made me cry of joy (yes ummi365 caught me in action).... meeting cikmilah for the first time gave me an impact that tears just rolled down....we chat,sms and each other comfort in time of needs so often and exchange opinions and it was suppose to be a surprise to all who are present and instead it backfired onto me.... now you know I am a softie:)

My manageress who organised everything for me for this gathering .... thank you Ina for the good job done IOU one ....hahaha ..... and please don't send in your resignation to step down.

To Raden Galoh my icon blogger who went through so much with her battle of cancer of the breast .... Congrats sis on your book and thank you for making time to meet me and other bloggers too.RG will be launching her book 20th April at the book fair at PWTC at 2pm do go and give your support.
