Sutera yg menggeram kan....

Hari ni kami di undang adik lelaki saya pergi makan nasi bryani and murtabak di Arab St tapi sebelum tu saya bersama Aini sempat pergi mencari kain sutera ... alang2 basah biar basah kuyup sekali ..... mmg tak jauh kedai2 kain ni dari tempat yg kami nak pergi makan.

Aini's feberet silk shop tu Bobby mmg mengila bila masuk mata jadi rambang ...... tengok lah.....

Berbagai2 sutera yg dari Thailand pure and raw dan juga dari India ........

Ingat tak ummi365 ada memberi saya kain masa hari jadi saya?jadi saya nak cari silk untuk kain dia jadi dapat lah saya buat 2 helai baju .... itu pun kalau cukup kain nya .... maklum lah badan XL size ni kekadang kain ela tak mencukupi......

Saya lupa pulak membawa kain untuk di pasangkan jadi ikut hati lah mencari warna pink .... ada yg gelap ada yg terang ... eh mana satu ye yg match?.... akhir nya saya pilih yg warna di bawah ....

Cam mana matching tak?satu meter S$20/-saya beli raw silk kalau pure silk 3 ply satu meter S$28/-

Lepas habis beli kain kami pun tuju ke ..........

tempat di atas ........... semua yg hadir 20 orang termasuk kanak2 ..... riuh pun bolih tahan .... dan yg menyambut hari lahir in May and June ..... Happy Birthday.

Ni saya tapau balik untuk makan esok di tempat kerja ..... no school no canteen.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the school holiday begins and the next 5 weeks its going to be very quiet time in school except for those taking the exams and those coming back for extra classes esp the IGCSE and IB candidates.
Our school holiday at ACSInternational from 29th May till 5th July ...... hahaha .... happy..happy.


Today is parents meet teachers session from 8.30am till 6pm .... and prefects are ushers to the parents showing them where to go etc ..... fingers picking food are provided for parents all day.Soon after I arrived at 8.45am an unexpected injury happened ....


One prefect Mariska anak Indonesia fell from the staircase as she was coming down from the hall and one front tooth got dislodge and hanging ... it was a shock for her so you can imagine the cry and chaos ... and thank god her parents came yesterday for the meeting session and we brought her to their personal dentist at Mt Elizabeth Hospital and had it implanted straight away.Poor Mariska she won't be able to eat the next few days and she is supposed to lead the service trip to Jogja on Tuesday but looks like she is grounded now.She is lucky she didn't injure her pretty face.


Today once again we had makan2 lah .... just the other day we had lunch from the PSP .... SEKOLAH NI MMG TAK HABIS BAGI KITA MAKAN .......

Sport Day

Its the school sport day today and we were at the Clementi Stadium from 1.30pm till 5pm and the weather was hottttttttt ....... along with me and Pauline are 2 filipinos nurses from the ambulance service Civic ... the 2 paid nurses did most of the dressings to the injuries ....



Aunty nurse with Teratai on my left and cikgu Chin on my right .... cikgu is incharge of medical for this year sport day ... behind us are the 2 filipinos nurses.

We had few injuries the first one happened before the sport start Annabel nak warm up her cheering dance hit the floor and toe nail cracked ....
Then 2 boys ran without shoes on a very hot tarmac ..... so you know rite - burn the sole .... tak kerja cari kerja ..... and a girl fell on reaching the finishing line.


Other than that it went well ..... the day ended before we knew it and I am glad to be in the coach back to school ..... nak aircond mah.....hahahaha

We arrived back in school and lepak for a while and went home and my dear colleague whose daughter came back for holiday from the states gave me these .............. chocolates and assorted somemore ......

Singapore school starts on monday and for this break its 5 weeks for our school ... school reopen on 7th July......yahoooooooooooooooooo.But tomorrow we all have to stay late again aiyoooooooooooooooo.

Working shoes .....

To be comfortable you need good pair shoes and I managed to buy 2 pairs of good shoes when I was on holiday in America early this year.My previous pair for working was a hush puppies which is still in good condition after 2 yrs and that walking shoes has travel as far as Europe and America.It is now in my shoes cabinet to rest .....hehehe


Ummi365 commented that she needs a good pair of shoes to walk that 12,100 steps ... haha ... maybe its true a good shoes will do us good.

I bought this pair of recommended shoes by orthopaedic surgeon ... its good for our heel as it supports and mind you I won't be able to afford it if I were to buy them here in Singapore as its very expensive about S$200/-plus and so far tak jumpa pun brand ini ..... and I got it at 50% less when I was there in Texas and I only paid about $90/- it has thick non slip sole too and its a slip in shoes .... a few teachers and students been admiring it in school .... hahaha

Besides that I also in between will wear this ecco sport shoes at times and like tomorrow where we will be having our sport day under the hot sun ... adoiiiiiiiii .... this was also selling at 50% during the sale and its only aboutS$75/- .... I can't get it here for that price ..... should have grabbed a few more pairs rite but unfortunately my luggage was full with handbags ..... hahaha

Ummi kakak kalau nampak kasut ni mesti jealous kan? .... I like the valcro back just release a bit and ole my giant feet are in .... hehehe

Pada maklang and family ingin saya ucapkan selamat pergi ke tanah suci semoga semua nya sihat di sana dan di permudahkan segala urusan.Selamat pergi dan selamat kembali maklang salam saya pada wan and atok tak lupa juga pada Simah sekeluarga.

Tomorrow is our school sports day and we have to be at the stadium ... aiyo under hot sun must remember to bring sunblock.

I did it

I got a shocked when I read my pedometer and saw I walked more than 12 thousands steps ... oh my I did it at last not 10,000 but exceed 12,000 .... clap..clap ... must walk more so my next target is to exceed 13,000 insya'allah.....hehehe maybe at the great singapore sales next month.



This is last week of school but I have no plan of going anywhere maybe take leave to go for dental appt.

Comes June it will be arwah's 1 year and I 've planned to do a kenduri tahlil just amongst the siblings so perhaps will take leave to do that too and of course for the GSS....


I've finished watching all the DVD's that I bought so the last 2 days I managed to do some reading again .... my first time reading book by Aina Emir and thank you Nora for the tips which book to get at the pesta buku last month.



A beautiful setup kalau dah jodoh tak kemana .....

Will start on another book tomorrow and hope it will be as nice as this one.

Tiring days

It has been 2 tiring days for me saturday and sunday .... yesterday was the school celefest I was in school from 9.30 till 6pm there goes my most wanted day off .... urghhhhh!! It was fun for the students they got to revenge on teachers they hated with games like throwing the darts...haha ...fyi my picture and teratai was also on the board and hope no one throw darts at my face .... hahaha...

It was a very hot day indeed ... I did my rounds in dark glasses and in civilian outfits that some don't recognise me .... few injuries and 1 had need referral to hospital with dislocation shoulder after a game of gladiator.....actually some of the games are quite dangerous in my opinion.





Fresh bread on sale.... I bought muffins and lemon cake .....


This is real fun .... try to walk in the bubble ......

Kueh kueh ... a bit too expensive but then its for charity .......

Rodeo ride another dangerous game when one fall ............

Take revenge and throw soapy sponge at the teachers face .... adoi masuk mata mesti pedih .....

The best of all dunk them into the tank of water .... principals,vice principals and teachers got dunked over and over again ......

Today sunday we went to my cousin daughter's wedding at Pasir Ris in the east ....... another hot day that it gives you a headache ....... food was ok .... but buffet table too far and malas nak go second round for desserts ...... drank so much ........

Pengantin 2 sejoli .... they both met whilst studying in Australia.




With my aunt Ju who came down from Darwin for the wedding ...........

What we enjoyed most was listening to nostalgic songs with traditional music .......

The taping wasn't that good due to the crowd talking ....

It's going to rock tomorrow ....

As I said in my previous entry we were so busy today all day .... kudos to PSP those mothers really are wonderful they work from morning till late to organise the place ..... I will snap pictures tomorrow of the surrounding place the games and all if I have the time.




The 12 chinese zodiac animals I bought the other day for $10 and when I open them just now I realise I have 2 of same animal and no tiger uwaahhhh the tiger is me how can it goes missing...
nevermind I will ask them tomorrow if they have an extra tiger.



One of the main item tomorrow is clash of the bands ..... the students are taking part they form their rock group and will entertain us .... the best band win a prize and I heard people from the media will be present too .....

Jon from Taiwan and Reggie part of 5 will be performing too ..... this afternoon they had a rehearsal ....

Kecur di buat nya

Hari ni kami di lawati parent dari Indonesia dan mereka membawakan untuk kami benda kat bawah tu .... semua staff dapat sebungkus tapi saya dapat dua sebab Teratai kata dia tak reti makan ..... hahaha ... rezeki saya kan?





Jeruk manga adoi bila tengok kecur di buat nya telan aje liur tu .... hehe .....

di sertakan dgn sebungkus cili dan gula ............. hmmmmm ..... belum makan dah dapat merasa nya ...........

Lepas makan tadi saya makan ler benda ni ..... aiyoyo ..... habis sebungkus ...............

Kami lagi sibuk tadi kemah2 sedang di pasang .... esok banyak lagi yg akan di habiskan ......

dan hari sabtu ni semua staff kena hadir kami di beri duty ...... sedeh nya kena ke sekolah ...... uwaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

Saya dah masukkan coupon lucky draw ke dalam bekas trip to HK .... doakan saya dapat ye ..... hehehe ..... tak jadi nak blackberry ......bagi lain orang peluang menang tu.

Celefest 2009

Celefest is here again at the school and this year we've been preparing it since March this is organised by the school with the help of the parents support group.Meetings after meetings to make sure everything will be as planned.


Today at lunch we have the preview sale some of the stuff lots of clothes every where alll brand new going at cheap prices....but I didn't buy any as my cupboard is going to explode soon.

Sponsors start sending their gifts for the saturday event ..... and more to come tomorrow and friday ..... wah the students getting excited too and all staff have to come and helppppp ...... so sad my saturday kena kerjaaaaaaaaaa ..uwaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.


These are the hardworking mothers who will be running the show ..... they've been working hard organising,planning etc and mind you ni bukan calang2 mothers ........

Happy 21st Birthday ....

The baby is now 21 yrs old today ....

Congratulations and a happy 21st birthday Huda ..

Huda was our pride and joy when she was a baby,a very chubby and beautiful baby indeed.She was my ward if not daughter she sleeps with me when my sister Lina was on night duty .. the nights that I had to feed her every 3-4 hrly eventhough I had to work the next morning.Bringing her outing when I am off duty by train by taxi and every where I go Huda will tag along....

and today she turns 21 - how the time flyyyyyyyyyy.
