Salam to all my daily happenings is now surrounded by felines story my 2 indoors and 4 that I am feeding at the void deck downstairs.I have become one crazy cat lady :) I was never a cat person or anything furry at all until 7 yrs ago.

After bapak left us I live alone in my apartment so a friend suggested to adopt a cat as companion as siblings have their own families and has no time for visit now that bapak no longer around.
Alhamdulillah I have no regret infact looking forward to come home after work and be greeted by the 2 at the door.
Once they are fed they will keep me company may it be at my feet or on the dining table sleeping on my hand as their pillow.

6 weeks ago Jingga was sick and warded at the vet with an enlarged bladder 3 times the size of an original bladder that he was leaking as the contraction doesn't work,then he was found to be jaundice too with a very high liver enzyme.The vet gave me  a 50-50 chance of recovery if liver is badly damaged and hence kidney maybe affected too.I look at the bright side to the good 50% as J is only 4.5 yrs old he will recover and bounce back.Only Allah knows how I felt that time crying myself to sleep and my doas for him to be fit again.
His stay in hospital and follow ups do cost a bomb with that amt of money paid I could have bought an airticket to the states rtn trip and visit my sister in Texas....but his health comes first.
Every follow up at the vet its at least $180/- for blood test and medicines.

The last scan we did on Tuesday his bladder has shrunk to normal size again and his liver enzyme is down by half and am hoping in 2 wks times it will come down further.
The last 3 weeks he had 3 episode of blood in his urine so further test done and I am waiting for his result and hope Dr Travis will give me good result soon.

Cat talk .....

Salam to all today is the date line to write but I am sick down with flu even Jingga my precious 4 legged baby has been unwell so both mama and baby had to see doc and vet.

Animal's medical bill is higher than human and so are their meals and toilet stuff comparing my marketing and their shopping mine is nothing compared to theirs....but I can't complain I adopted them so its my responsibilty to look after them.I have 2 of my own indoor and I am feeding 4 downstairs.

When I am much better I will write more this is just the beginning to welcome back to blogging.

Wedding

I have more nieces than nephews who are still singles one by one will be getting married in times to come some already have partners some still in school.Last December a nephew and niece got married and now 5 months later another niece.....and Insya'allah another next year.

Yesterday was Syda's wedding held at Desa Kartika all in one akad nikah till bersanding before the couple left to change their outfit for another ceremony held by the groom's family at the SAF Yatch Club.

Alhamdulillah the event went well with families and friends attending the simple ceremony.Relatives whom we haven't met for a long time were present too.Its the only way always met at weddings :)
The function ended at 4.30pm and I even managed to drop in Metro which is just few metres away to get kitchen floor rugs.

The groom host the dinner for their friends and families ....

Coming back to blogging

Salam to all once again this blog had been in sleeping mode the last 5 yrs after I got hooked on https://www.facebook.com/latifah.jellanie .
Anyway My Daily Happening is now all about my 2 adopted sons and more godchildren at the void deck so nothing much on other activities and fyi its going to be boring for the non animal lovers.
Even my www.dapurkakelle.blogspot.com had stopped input recipes from my kitchen sad to say.

Bapak left us 7 yrs ago and how time flies day in and day out I am with the furkids less visiting from siblings too and less outing now too no makan2 and no jalan jalan either.....boring rite?

I cook as and when and most time live on leftovers or food from the food centres and of course instant noodles.I am doing less entertainment too so less activities in the kitchen.....laziness has conquered :)

I am still working - no work no income and kitties won't get good food on their plates so I will still work as long as I can and in Singapore retirement is unheard of....medical fees are high and cats medical fees are even higher sad to say.Jingga has been in poor health with his waterworks and his liver his vet fees left a big hole in pocket and more follow ups to come....there goes my intended holiday unless someone willing to sponsor my airticket :)

I have been invited by Kak Teh... https://www.facebook.com/groups/1539227586333359/ for us bloggers to make a comeback on 6th May 2015.This is the place I once frequent and made friends from all over the world - cyber friends and have met lots of them in reality too.In London in 2007 met  up with Kak Teh so sweet of her coming to the hotel in the evening.

Whether or not I will be blogging again lets wait and see.

Makcik blogger is back alive and kicking and first of all Salam to all its been almost 5 long years since I last made an entry.
 After bapak's death I adopted Billy and then comes Jingga a year later 2 is enough and 3 is a crowd so Manja was given away to another family.
Life has been full of fun with these 2 furkids to entertain me when I am home,they are my alive alarm clocks.

3 Abdul

I now have 3 sons - 3 Abdul

2 years ago if you ask me to go near a cat I will shiver and no way will I touch it now thing have changed I can cuddle and kiss them and from 1 I now have 3 'I ask for it!'...in 2009 it took me months before I said YES to have Billy as her ex family no longer want him.It was a big decision I made and it took courage to finally agree to it and I can tell you now loud and clear I HAVE NO REGRETS:)

Having him in the house makes a lot of different I no longer feel lonely at night he is always there waiting for me to come home from work and waiting to be pampered.We played chase the red dot and catching the 'bird' and he is my alarm clock waking me up dot at 5am and no matter how tired I was I will grant his command!Even during Ramadhan he seems to know he will wake me up at 4.30 for my sahur.

After a year with me comes Jingga my 2nd son in December 2010 after an SOS from CW if I can foster but meeting him first time was like love at first sight if only he's my hero .. hahaha... from a babe now a 7 month little tiger,and from a mere 1kg in weight he has blown to almost 4kg within 3 months.He is full of energy only sleep few hours during the day and that also a very short nap.At times when I am home he will take longer nap of 2-3 hrs at stretch maybe because he is sleeping next to me.A darling very lovable too always wanting your attention and love walking side by side that few times I almost trip on him.Love to go undercover from comforter to rugs and even his little bed.Enjoys eating always asking for more:)

Now barely 5 months I am taking another an abandonee I found downstairs who is very friendly and manja and hence I name him Manja.One morning as I was leaving for work at 6.45am he whimpers calling for my attention,he sat on all fours in a corner on the ground floor he looks so pityful and I happen to have kibbles in my bag and fed him and I ask the pakcik who cleans the block to help throw the bowl for me as I have to rush to work and that evening was raining heavily as I came out of the cab I saw him sitting under the bench and once again gave him the balance kibbles in my bag.I have no bowl so I used an envelope from my mail to put his meal .On and off I see him and when he sees me he will run to me eventhough an uncle has given him kibbles along with some other cats that the uncle is feeding.Manja is like waiitng for me sometimes but last week I was working late didn't reach home till 7.45pm so didn't get to see him.Friday morning he was there and a makcik was also feeding him but ran to me and like an excited kid waiting to see what I ahve in my bag...yes fussie cat for him and the rest is history put him in my carrier and had him neutured and vaccinated etc..etc... Can I bear to put him back on the street after neuturing him?its a shame neither will I send him for boarding awaiting adoption and how if no one want to adopt him?so another big decision I decide to keep him as my 3rd son.

The night full of surprises

1st April 2011 was a night the Jellanies will not forget for a long time.A night full of surprises awaits everyone.Since my birthday I've been keeping the secret of my sister Maria & hubby's arrival to myself as requested by them.I am to arrange dinner when everyone will be together and we chose 1st April to make it into an april fool joke. I smsed to all the siblings that I am giving a treat as a belated birthday treat from me to them with a msg attendance is compulsary!no question asked:) ... Maria and John arrived on 15th March and stayed 1 night before leaving the next morning for Nepal and Bhutan for 2 weeks.My heart was jumping wanting so much to prepare the rest but a promise is a promise. They came back on 30th March and again I met up with them as they were then staying at The Elizabeth as its in the package.For the 2nd time they sneaked to my place for dinner and fyi my youngest sister live 2 blocks away from me. Then came the gala night ... initially we arranged that Maria and John walk in when everyone is present then came the smses some maybe late so we decide we will be there early and wait for them and thats when the shocked & surprised faces as they saw the guests of honour.It was a night of fun fun fun ... the five spice girls ... latifah,maria,lina,ram and aini

2 brothers

Greeting once again wow its been a while since I last wrote no other excuse but just pure laziness to blog.Nothing much to write except on the boys and I am pretty sure you'll be bored to death reading about them all the time.

Jingga has been with me for 3 months now from a mere 1kg kitten he is now 3.8kg when last weight at the vet for his vaccination.Last friday I had him neutured and he had an uneventful recovery infact when I fetch him that evening he was wide awake making so much noise maybe hungry plus doesn't like the place:)

He is getting along very well with Billy and being big brother Billy been looking after him well too but the jumping and pounding on each other is normal when you have 2 at home.Jingga like to snuggle next to Billy when sleeping.

Yesterday I was fixing a chest of drawers I bought the week before and both came to kepo2 as usual .....

One afternoon as all 3 of us were taking afternoon nap suddenly I saw Jingga crept to Billy and hug him Billy was fast asleep and the scenerio really touches me that I quickly grab my camera and snap pictures of them together like that.

I hope the 2 will continue to be brotherly and love each other like normal human being love for own siblings.

I will try and update again soon.

my 61st Birthday

Yesterday mark my 61st birthday and alhamdulillah I am given more time to be in this world and to be with my 2 boys.

As usual my sister Aini invite me out for lunch with small party with my sister Ramlah and their families.We went to Carousel at the Royal Scott and had buffet lunch then as I was on my 3rd round of chicken rice I heard singing from my back...OMG the staff was singing happy birthday to me with chocolate cake...I was lucky that I was able to hold my tears...

Happy birthday

Celebrating Billy's 3rd birthday last nite with friends who are also February babies like me.the minute I got home at 5.30 the battle in the kitchen began.Even though I ordered KFC chicken we still need something for dinner so I decide to fry bee hoon using chicken meat and cabbage.

the spread on the table my friend Rush came with home made kuih balsam (oops maybe spelt wrongly)very nice.Maryam brought a cake for us and Paula bought fruit juice.We had a great time eating and catching up about our cats and life.

The birthday boy whilst we sang happy birthday to him.I made a tuna cupcake for him with his biscuits and treats as decor which turn out good.

I was sitting online as usual and the 2 boys will sit on the table relaxing then as I looked up what I saw was indeed a surprise that I was choked with emotion..quickly grab my camera and record them live ... this is something I may not be able to see when I am at work ... alhamdulillah they make great brothers.

Watching this it makes you wonder even though they are not real siblings and yet the love and care for each other is unfounded in human sometimes!

Happy New Year

A happy new year to all we have left 2010 and now in 2011 may the new year bring us a more meaningful and give us a healthy year ahead.

Nothing much happen as for me having the boys with me is real happening watching them play and fight with each other.Jingga being the baby likes to disturb Billy by catching his tail and jumping on him and J is ever ready to pounce on him.

Jingga has put on 1kg after almost 3 weeks with me he is getting rounder day by day and he is eating more than Billy who has been a small eater all along and also slow with his food.

After 5 weeks onleave I am due back to work tomorrow Jingga will be in his penthouse till he is bigger as I will be away for almost 12 hrs and I don't want any injury to happen whilst I am at work.Billy can fierce if he wants to by biting an dclawing the little one.It may be a game too rough.

More of Jingga

Its been 6 days since Jingga came into our life and they are progressing well in term of becoming brothers.Less hissing and growls from both of them...today Billy even went into the room and get near to Billy's cage.
