Its been a long time

Salam to all and Ramadhan Kareem too and I have been too lazy to blogs hop or even writing an entry no other excuse but pure laziness.

Nevertheless I had visitors from blogger friends this year alhamdulillah and been to KL again to attend a cousin's wedding in July.

The Jellanie clans 80% attended the wedding in July in KL ,we left on saturday morning and in time for the ceremony and the 6 Jellanie siblings all stayed 1 night in KL but in different hotels.As usual we did nothing but eat and shop:) esp the hotel I stayed is just opposite the Pavillion at The Marriots.We left on sunday soon after lunch and got home after we stopped in JB for dinner.

A visit from Rina with hubby Anuar which actually was a surprise for me.Anuar did inform me he will be in Sg for an inspection of the plant and on the day he was to visit me with ole2 from Saudi he called and said a friend would like to join too:) and that 'friend' was actually Rina who was hiding by the wall next to the gate!! SURPRISE.....hahaha .... notti notti lucky I didn't get a heart attack.

I also had the honour of this young man Dr Jhaz visit and he stayed with with me for 3 nights with my nephew in house.Jhaz love Billy from the way he treated him and I am glad Billy has a companion whilst I am at work.Jhaz of course also did lots of sight seeing during the day in his short visits.Thank you Jhaz sudi tinggal ngan aunty mohom maaf kalau tak dapat layanan 5* ya.

I will be adopting this cutie soon once I have a longer weekend I will bring Suzzy home as she needs monitoring to introduce Billy to her.I hope Billy is agreeable and will be a good brother to her.

Another surprise from my dear friend from Perth ... so many suprises indeed this year.Kay and hubby Victor came to visit her mom before going to HK to stay with her sister.Her sister called me at work and said she has something for me from Perth and ask what time I knock off from work.When the receptionist told me someone looking for me I was expecting the sister and instead I saw Kay and Victor.....uwah lucky no heart attack also....she brought with her my favourite vindaloo rempah and tees....thank you Kay.

Then its Salwa and family visit as well ... the purple family ... hehehe ... beautiful children who loves cat just like the father Nasrul.Thank you for coming to visit me and do come again ye jangan serik.

Umair came to town

Who would have guess that I finally get to see Umair cucu wanmommy - on saturday when I logon to FB I saw a msg in box from Zaid to say that they are here in Singapore and would like to come and visit me ... alhamdulillah I know his mom from her blog when they were staying in Jordan and we become close friend in reality.

Rina came to Singapore in late 2007 with her hubby Anuar and 2 youngest children Izzat and Mimi then I get to meet her 2 princesses Sofie and Sumayyah who are both studying in Ukraine and Korea respectively.The 2 girls came to stay with me and they were on their own during the day when I go to work but being oversea studying they know what to do they venture on their own during the day and as arranged with them they are to have dinner with me at night....their stay was too short as the day when I am off over the weekend they departed for KL.

I now have met all members of the family and I am happy to say I take them as my own nephews and nieces:)

Tetamu jauh

Malam ni saya ada tetamu dari seberang yang sudi datang kerumah untuk bertemu kali kedua...
saya mmg ambil cuti 2 hari jadi dapat lah masak sedikit untuk menjamu.Ingatkan nak bertemukan lagi satu blogger yang juga ada di Singapore tapi malang nya dia nak pulang ptg ni takpe lah tak rezeki nak jumpa mungkin dia pun banyak prog sampai tak sempat bertemu saya.


Pepagi saya dah kepasar dan tak tau apa nak menjamu bila dia dan keluarga dtg nanti .... lama juga memikirkan apa menu yek? dan akhir nya saya masak lauk pauk raya makan ngan lontong .....

saya akan update dan tunjuk sape tetamu saya mlm ni ok...... hehehe.... dan saya menjemput 2 bloggers tempatan untuk bersama makan2 insya'allah dan harap mereka akan datang.

My dinner partner

At last we made it .... we have been planning to meet up since I came back from states but we just couldn't find the time as we both had been busy.Last week we wanted to meet then my sis was here and everynight we practically went out so tonite we finally made it.







Here they are Nora and Bella .......

I managed to dish up mee kuah .... how do I find the time to cook? well the minutes I got home at 6.45pm I start to defrost the prawns etc .... get the prawns broth boiling while I start to pound the garlics and chop-chop the veges,tomatoes and fish cake....ole 45 minutes later all done and by the time my guests arrived at 7.30pm the mee was all ready to be eaten.

We chatted whilst eating and we chat about the most top of the town topic thats going on now from A-Z ..... and especially on friendships .... fyi we don't gossip.

Once we are done with our dinner I serve the guests dessert which is ..........

Ice creammmmmmmmmmmmmm ...... slurpppppppp ...... oh so yummyyyyyyyyy.

Then I gave Nora the gifts I bought for her new niece from the states and even managed to knit a pair of booties for her last minute. Also ofcourse some goodies for Nora from states ... if you want to know you have to ask her...... hehehe

We could have time for tea if not for Bella as she wants to go to MacD .... usual lah kids bila nak keluar aje MacD ... So Nora has to leave as our friend dah muncunggggggg.....hehehe

I ask Nora last week when she went to JB to get me novels since it is in RM$$$ and she bought for me 3 novels and it is .............

Thank you Nora I didn't expect it to be an early birthday present at all I wanted to pay for them....rezeki jangan di tolak kan? ... hahaha

Finally today the girls bade farewell till we meet again ......
Soon after breakfast we sat and pot pet pot pet again till around 11.30am since we decide not to go to the Science Centre again I suggested I bring them to IMM as I want to get stuff from Daiso....

Once we reached our destination the girls kept asking me why don't I bring them here before as $$$ running out......hahaha .... hey not my fault huh you girls have heavy progs rite?
ok ok they don't believe that anything in that store from Japan are only at $2/- well you can guess they go ga-ga and bought basketful of stuff.




Then we had lunch @ Bagus its a halal food court and we shared our meals of chicken rice,seafood pasta,fried charkwayteow and dumpling soup.... a very satisfying lunch indeed.
We then headed for home as they have to pack their bags and be at Emi's place for dinner there after to the airport for their flight home.



Whilst queing for the cab home as usual lah camwhoring again .... I guess we are just like mother and daughters as someone ask me at Far East Plaza.....hahaha

The cab that will bring them to Tampines and then Changi Airport ...... they came with 1 luggage each and went home with those ..............





Sayonara girls and hope to see you girls again ...... we laugh,we jokes,we condemn each other bad habits but we meant no harm .... as much as you enjoyed your stay I too enjoyed having you girls the last 5 days.

Guests Day 3

Day 3 with the girls and its fun fun fun day for 4 of us .... I feel young again to be with these 3 ladies......hehehe

Whilst the girls still in slumberland ... I start doing breakfast fried nasi goreng kampong with left over rice from raya haji,microwaved ikan bilis and left over sambal tumis also from tuesday's lunch,grilled hotdogs and microwaved poach eggs ... asal malas nak mengoreng.

My poached eggs using the poach tray just microwaved for 1.5 minutes but you have to poke the egg yokes ya so it won't explode ... well they enjoyed the nasi goreng of course.

During breakfast I gave them a small souvenir to bring home ... can see their surprise faces and they keep saying'ala kak elle dah bagi tinggal ngan kakell dah cukup ... kenapa susah2 ni?'....hahaha ... ala benda kecik aje.

At 11am we proceed to the Science Centre and thats where Mas school classmate works (the one who gave them the magic pass to tourisy attractions) .... apa lagi masuk free lah so we spent about an hour there as I have to be at my ex clinic main branch at 1pm but ofcourse we were delayed as usual.

Oh bulat nya mukaa saya dan bedak putih melepak lagi.......






We are just the excited children cam-whoring as usual 'klik sana klik sini' ... saya tak banyak yg banyak si Dodie tu semua nya nak amek.

Our lunch at Sakura - Far East Plaza and thats what we had ... both Dodie and me had beef horfun,Emi the fried kwayteow with cockles and Mas the chicken wantan noodle and soup....wanna to know what happen notti Mas paksa Emi bagi her lunch to her because she doesn't like her wantan chicken noodle .... hey budak sorang ni kan ... poor Emi mengalah juga...she craves for the cockles fried kwayteow when she is at Chad Republic working ni Mas dah potong jalan lak .... when we were at FEPlaza someone ask me if the girls are my daughters???? ait do I look that old????.....hahahha .....after the lunch we went over to my ex working place to hand them the invoices that I did the billings and followed by window shopping we went from M&S then to Tangs and from there we dispersed ... the 3 girls went to Bugis whilst poor me shop alone as I don't fancy walking malas actually. I browse at Tangs and bought a pair of Clarks sandal.



My purchases .... ooo .... now sape yg bershopping ni?The biscuits in the double decker is so cute and I bought it at S$35/- and will give it to Will when I see him.

In the evening I met the girls at the Bukit Gombak station and we proceed for dinner at 7.30pm at Bukit Panjang Plaza.Dinner with Shalin (Mas's friend yg bagi pass to them) and her 2 boys.Our dinner at Swensen ... Mas and Dodie's treat ... thank you girls.

End of day 3 ... today day 4 I am at work and the 2 girls will be meeting Emi to have lunch at her place and then after they gonna boogie the night.... given them a set of keys so that I can sleep BUT they have to be home by 2am otherwise the door will be auto lock ... they are under my care so have to give them curfew time.

Ps they extended their stay and will be flying back tomorrow night from Changi Airport now.... they forfeited their Senai flight tonite ..... $$ down the drain.

Tomorrow we going out again ..................
