This year teacher's/staff day will be held on 4th Sept at 12.30pm ( alamak puasa lah).We received our invites today from the PSP and its Mexican Fiesta for this year unlike last year was Arabian Night and aunty nurse hope to win something in the lucky draw again .... hik hik hik ....

Staff above 55yrs old received this bath towel from the management menghargai warga emas:) mine is yellow in colour ... thank you.

Yeah don't have to set alarm tonite tomorrow can sleep in ... hehehe ... but have early dinner appt with my old buddies again to celebrate one of them birthday since the following saturday is fasting.

Had a great time ....

Yesterday Iwas unable to snap any pictures of our special VIP from the PM office as I didn't go up to the hall for the concert but saw him when he came in but no time to snap a picture.
I was busy doing the attendance entry for the day as Liza was on leave and Ros had to man the reception.

For lunch I had satay with ketupat really very kenyang and by 3pm I was feeling sleepy then they want us to go upstairs and have tea with the milk-fund donation ceremony...aiyo was too lazy and my boss came down with a plateful of fingers food.



The girl in glasses is my korean student Soo-ji , she will come in when she has free period to brush up her english lesson.....

Look at Clarice she sprained her ankle yesterday soon after the concert so had to bandage her rt foot and loan her the hand clutch.

I was busy today preparing for an early dinner as my buddies came and their special request - want to eat lontong.......macam nak raya pulak.

We had great times and J gave me cd where he compiles pictures during our stay in New Zealand .... well 10 yrs ago we have no digi cameras so he's kind enough to scan the pictures.

My buddies C and J and B ..... we sat for 3.5 hrs chatting and eating and watch the video of our stay @ Auckland. Thank you guys for the company and I really enjoyed having you all.

School Holiday

Today is 3rd day of school break and to tell you the truth I do miss those kids ...... life is lonely without them coming to see you and greet hello aunty nurse I am not feeling well.....

Every morning and afternoon I don't see the school van norm at 3.30pm and 4.30pm the school van will be waiting to fetch the children back to the dormitory.You don't see the BMW's or Lexus or Merc or even the japanese cars waiting in the parking lot waiting for the children.....life is just too quiet now except for Year 4 taking the IGCSE chinese paper.The yr 6 students who come back for extra classes.

and I walk to the games park no one playing ball and the hall is deserted too ..... and this will go on till school reopen on July 7th .....

Most of the foreign students are away balik kampong ....

Taiwan,China,Philippines,Indonesia,Malaysia,Vietnam and Russia and every where else except those who have gone for survice trip to Cambodia,Thailand and Indonesia.A batch of 25 left yesterday for Africa trip and hope they will be ok.

To pass the time I do some reading the novels I bought during the pesta buku finally come in handy ......

I will be on leave wednesday and thursday maybe walk down Orchard Rd for the GSS ...... hahaha

Looks like many of my Malaysian friends are away on vacation too ..... sunyi pulak blogland.

Sport Day

Its the school sport day today and we were at the Clementi Stadium from 1.30pm till 5pm and the weather was hottttttttt ....... along with me and Pauline are 2 filipinos nurses from the ambulance service Civic ... the 2 paid nurses did most of the dressings to the injuries ....



Aunty nurse with Teratai on my left and cikgu Chin on my right .... cikgu is incharge of medical for this year sport day ... behind us are the 2 filipinos nurses.

We had few injuries the first one happened before the sport start Annabel nak warm up her cheering dance hit the floor and toe nail cracked ....
Then 2 boys ran without shoes on a very hot tarmac ..... so you know rite - burn the sole .... tak kerja cari kerja ..... and a girl fell on reaching the finishing line.


Other than that it went well ..... the day ended before we knew it and I am glad to be in the coach back to school ..... nak aircond mah.....hahahaha

We arrived back in school and lepak for a while and went home and my dear colleague whose daughter came back for holiday from the states gave me these .............. chocolates and assorted somemore ......

Singapore school starts on monday and for this break its 5 weeks for our school ... school reopen on 7th July......yahoooooooooooooooooo.But tomorrow we all have to stay late again aiyoooooooooooooooo.
